Phase-1: Homebased therapy
PROJECT SUMMARY:
Project objectives:
- To contribute towards the filling of gaps between Children with ASD condition and scarcity of early intervention
- Training and equipping homebased ASD therapists by experts to be invited and sponsored by partners
- Providing home based weekly/daily therapy to children with ASD living in selected homes of Mekelle and Addis Ababa
- To acquire experience and lay foundation to future establishment of centers for day care/therapy of ASD
Duration of the project:
- Registering Elnabi Foundation: August- september/ 2024
- Selecting 45 candidate therapist (particularly women of heart)
- Training 45 therapists: one month:- September 01-30/2024 in one of the partner churches
- Selecting beneficiary homes: September 01-30/2024
- delivering therapy starting from October/2024 till October/2025 with possibility to be extended for further 5years
Number and types of beneficiaries:
Families/children with ASD to be selected from Mekelle (20) and Addis Ababa (20) towns as per the degree of their socioeconomic vulnerability and possibility to recover by proposed intervention
Phase-2: Center based Therapy:

Project objectives:
- To open therapy centers at Mekelle and Addis Ababa
- To equip the centers with relevant therapy equipment and tools
- To train and recruit staff and therapists
- To provide therapy services for CASD and families
Duration of the project:
- Raising fund for the foundation: December/2024- January/ 2025
- Opening centers: February-March/2025
- Recruiting staff: March/2025
- Selecting beneficiary CASD: March/2025
- Commence delivering therapy services: from April 2025 with 5years strategic plan.
Number and types of beneficiaries:
CASD (2-10age group) to be selected from Mekelle (25) and Addis Ababa (25) towns as per the degree of their socioeconomic vulnerability and possibility to recover by proposed intervention
